Nothing springs to mind.
Gum may have been banned during class... but that might've just been part of eating during class... which was pretty teacher-dependent anyway.

Back in primary school they banned Pokemon and Yu Gi cards, then they unbanned them and rebranded them. Of course the standed stuff were banned when I got to secondary school like gum, phones etc

Oh yeah, hats in class when I was in high school. I protested that one with some civil disobedience...

Throwing snowballs and before that pebbles, for risk of eye injury.

And some years it was forbidden to stay indoors during recess, unless it was raining or real damn cold (here that would mean below -15 or -20C).

I graduated high school in the 70s. Everything was banned! :D

Well, not everything. Unlike those in high school just a few years before us, we were allowed to wear jeans. Bell bottom jean. Levis. And we knew how to fade them ourselves. We didn't have to pay extra for pre-faded jeans. And hip huggers. Do they still make hip huggers? Or call them that?
