Your pet wake you up

How does your pet/pets wake you up?

It's been a long time, but the dog from his cage (he wouldn't sleep anywhere else but his cage) whimpered until I got up, and I had to pick him up and set him outside to pee. If I just opened his cage and let him out to take him outside, he couldn't hold it. The cat never woke me up, she would just wait.

I actually wake up before they do. They don't start making any noise until they hear me in the kitchen preparing their breakfast.
