Statement: Mental Health Therapy should be free and available for everybody, regardless of age and ability to pay.

Question: Do you agree or disagree with the statement and why?

What KIND of "therapy"?

There are literally dozens of sorts of therapy, ranging from the physical (PT, OT, etc), to educational related (Speech, Vision), to emotional ('talk therapy', bio-feedback), relationship (sex surrogate, anger management), job related (diversity training), and even more, some now involve interacting with a responsive AI ( https://www.ai-therapy.com/articles/computers-and-therapy ) .

Sorry about that. I changed to OP statement to Mental Health Therapy.
OK.

I'll ask the same question about that.... What KIND of Mental Health Therapy?

The so called "talk therapy" on the couch with a box of tissues and a Teddy bear and a counselor/headshrinker/analyst?

Electroconvulsive shock? which, incidentally, DOES work!

Sitting in a circle in a group? "Hello, I'm Doc, and I'm a half-drunken, half-crippled, ex-sportswriter".... "hello, doc."

Drugs?

Forced Hospitalization? or even voluntary....

In which case I would agree that a basic level of supportive treatment is probably OK.

However, I know people who have been in "therapy" for decades, with no recognizable progress on their 'condition'.
