What jobs do you feel people do not give enough thanks to those that do them and why?
I would have agreed with that 20 years ago but not now.
Police, fire, and ambulance dispatchers - They are the ones who pick up your 9-1-1 call. Without them there is a slim chance of an ambulance, police car or a fire truck reaching the site. They are behind-the-scene people who are calling the shots but hardly ever get noticed.
It's the same as operators who man customer service phones.It's not their fault your services etc have broken down.
Janitors who mop up and clean everyone's sh*t. I used to work at Wal-Mart for 3 years as a Janitor. Cleaning aisles, cleaning bathrooms,taking out the trash, and cleaning up offices and I still got crapped on.
