To me....

.... as a former sportswriter who has covered everything from high school sports to College, NASCAR, and the NFL....

.... ... in print, online, on the radio......

a sporting event WITHOUT FANS in attendance....

is, now, best described as... masturbation in front of a webcam on a pay website.

Well, there'll still be lots of people enjoying watching it.
So... with fans in the stands it's a burlesque show?
As funny as these comments are, as a fan of MLB, NFL, NBA, UFC and WWE along with College Sports, I have to agree. I was watching WWE Money in the Bank from their Performance Center in Orlando. I watched WrestleMania 36 from the same location (originally set to be held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa). I did not get the same level of excitement as if there were thousands of fans in the arena!
