"Police are investigating after a body was found in Hyde Park.

An area of grass around an acre in size near the Marble Arch entrance to the park has been cordoned off and witnesses describe a body lying face down between two trees about 250m from the edge of the park.

Around 30 police officers are believed to be in attendance near Speakers’ Corner.

Police told one witness it was a ‘serious incident’, the Standard reports.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: ‘We were called at 05.50 am this morning following concerns for the welfare of a man.

Officers attended and found a man deceased. The incident is being treated as suspicious – no arrests have been made at this time. Inquiries continue.’"

Wonder what they consider a ‘serious incident’ as meaning.

I think straight of if the person is dead it is rated serious till they have cause of death.
