Science is not about right and wrong it is about discovery and challenging current knowledge, sometimes it's right, sometimes it's wrong but it is always evolving

This question is fundamentally flawed. There's no 'science-overmind' that has all the answers.
There's only consensus based on observation of evidence. Done by humans.
Which kinda says it all, doesn't it?

Still, it works well enough. Wouldn't be able to post this otherwise now would I?
Not to mention the lack of trustworthy alternatives.

How exactly can science itself be either wrong or right when it is at the mercy of people who can be either wrong or right? lol

No, see the horribly wrong global warming for example.
explain... because last time i checked there are scientists that says "global warning" is real and others that says it's not...

just to be clear though... global warning and climate change shouldn't be confused with one another...

it should be about discovery, but now the science community and the controlled science as well as the controlled knowledge, sadly it's about forging beliefs and assumptions, and also guesses to be truth when it's not... if the controlled science community says this about something then it must be true... or is it?

It is like any belief system, it is right until proven wrong

i worded it like that on purpose, kind sir... ;)

and thanks for noticing...

there is no 'science-overmind' that has all the answers, you are surely correct on that one, but there's surely a facade that the world has... more or less there's a database, if you will, that the human race has that keeps changing, that's guessing, trail and error... it's called science, but people think what is written about something is truth rather than someone's and/or a group's opinion(s), assumption(s) and perhaps to keep knowledge from others and/or put false knowledge out upon the masses with a tool of the human race, called science...

well, the computers and the internet wouldn't be possible without technology, not just science itself, if you will...

what would the untrustworthy alternatives might be?

but why do they teach science in school when a lot of science is just made-up, guessing, trail and error...

now, it seems like it's the science way or the highway...

like science is the go2 for all knowledge, weather if it's truth or not...

You mean the mass corruption in the global warming scientist community.

They are one in the same. They just changed the name to try and change opinions.

Science is the best educated guess based on available knowledge.

Global warming is always a climate change, but there can be climate change without global warming.

As in, about all the "scientists" calling it a hoax being on the pay of companies whose profits depend on not trying to stop global warming?

Could be true. I suppose we could look at probability models to find out. What's the probability global warming is real? What's the probability that certain scientists are on the payroll?

As in scientists in the mid 2000s getting there funding either from the government or colleges caught in a scandal. And I call it global warming because that was the original name used to inspire fear in the public. When it wasn’t working it got changed to climate change

Could this global warming be like an old person's denial that smoking is killing him/her? :sick2:

To be honest, really creepy and disturbing thing might be right by science - but it doesn't mean people should support it.

Not always no. I think people should have enough sense to think for themselves. I think we should rule in common sense with our beliefs. You've heard the old saying "if your friend jumped off a bridge would you?"
