I have a friend on FB who's grandmother just passed away. They weren't close but she went to the wake/funeral.. She took PICTURES.. not just of the flowers but of the people and.. wait for it.. the body... WHO IN THE HELL DOES THAT???? Oh and they she posted them on Facebook....

I didn't go to view my Mother when she passed away.People couldn't understand why.
But I would rather have memories of her alive than one of her dead.

Well as you said they weren't close and it shows by her behavior. If her death meant something to her then she would be too busy grieving over the loss to be taking pictures of any kind. I wouldn't be surprised if she just went to make an appearance so people would see that she didn't miss her grandmother's funeral even if she couldn't care less that she died. To some people, appearing as if they care is far more important then actually caring.
