How long do you prefer games to be?
5 hours, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, open world/infinite?
I'm the sort of person that I play games to finish them and don't care for there being hundreds of hours of bonus goals. Depending genre, I prefer 10-50 hours, action leaning to shorter and turn-based/puzzle to longer.
The way I see it, having 2000 pages doesn't make a better book, running 7 hours doesn't make a better movie and stretching a game to 200 hours is no improvement either.
Then again under 5 hours would feel short, unless it's designed for being played on one sitting (having very strong cinematic storytelling) or has considerable replay value.
