lol Those will do the trick. But seriously, Walmart sells carpet power specifically for this purpose. I use that or the spray equivalent. But if your cat is pissing on your carpet you need to correct that. He hates you. lol

It doesn't work that well. The smell comes back. My grandmother has rental houses and she's ended up having to replace the carpet in them after the tenant leaves. She's tried everything from having hired professionals come and steam clean the carpet and shampoo it and they couldn't get the smell out. So now she doesn't allow pets in the residence.

I'm anti pets these days. I just don't want to add to my list of responsibilities.

Especially after what I've seen from my brother in law. One thing thats way worse than cat piss is dog piss. It's a way worse smell. He has 2 dogs that are not house broken and he never takes them out. Those dogs of his both piss all over the carpet and the furniture such as the couches and his bed. I cannot believe he's that nasty. I quit visiting him a long time ago after he got a dog and thats because his house smells horrible.

So I don't want a pet that will piss all over my carpet. Because it's pretty impossible to get the smell out.

a pet store guy told me that a lemon scented based cleaner should do the trick as cats dont like the smell of it so it acts as a repellant
