I've never had a dog but if I did it would be a German Shepherd.

Australian shepherds. Why I really don't know i've just always liked the look of them.

Not sure why, maybe the boxed face, the curly woollen coat.

They are rare to see here too.

Giant Schnauzer. My friend has one, he is beautiful , well behaved, clever and so loyal.

Does "Mutt" count as a breed?

This was our Taffy, she was half dalmatian, and half everything else.

In the picture used for the book cover, she was about twelve years old, nobody had any idea but her vet thought that was at least close. She was reasonably described as "dumber than dirt" (for instance, she had no idea that squirrels could climb trees), but she was a very sweet and generally good dog.


Now we have a "Morky" named Scooter.
