After a discussion with @Jazzy about the increase of bad information being posted about the coronavirus, we felt there was action that needs to be taken to prevent such information from polluting the real facts.

So, this is what we've decided are forbidden and allowed:

FORBIDDEN
Politically bias information from politically driven people or groups, including Youtube videos. This will prevent possible politically bias information from polluting real information.

Information proven to be wrong by multiple sources.

Information presented as fact without basis or proven wrong.

ALLOWED
Personal opinions presented with reasons that are not political in nature.

We ask all members to assist us by reporting posts containing forbidden items so they can be dealt with accordingly.

These items are subject to change if and when it's deemed to be needed.

a suggestion? maybe keep it all in a single thread ?
The suggestion is appreciated, but keeping information all in one thread would blur what the topic is about. For instance, a discussion about the virus in England would be polluted with information from Illinois in the US. Two totally unrelated topics.

@Snog: I'm curious how mainstream news outlets are less politically biased than others? Perhaps that's not what you're saying here though.

As @Beaky said, it's more about fake news that has been proven wrong.

And we have a member that was insisting on posting misinformation from unreliable sources. In other words, sources that weren't true news services but politically motivated individuals giving information that was not correct and proven wrong.
