I'd like to think it would depend upon the person you are dating. Tailoring a date in such a way that it demonstrates that you know the person and were paying attention to things, places, foods, etc. that they like would be better then something tailored around the sort of things t hat only you like or something generic that could have worked for anyone. I'd think that would make for a good first date.

Go to a flea market. Besides all the browsing, antique shopping comes with a built-in second date. Find something to refurbish, and meet later to do it together. (y)
