Plot: Based on Frank Miller's graphic novel, "300" is very loosely based the 480 B.C. Battle of Thermopylae, where the King of Sparta led his army against the advancing Persians; the battle is said to have inspired all of Greece to band together against the Persians, and helped usher in the world's first democracy.

I'm tempted to say I hate the movie. Least to say I hate Snyder.

You have one of the greatest (loosely real) stories in human history. You have a version of that by one of greatest living storytellers. And yet this sorry excuse of a director is able to turn it into some mediocre entertainment.

I'd like to say no comic has been slaughtered this bad in translation to film, but sadly that's far from true.

2 things made this film halfway decent....(1) the fight scenes, and (2) Lena Headey.
Other than that, it wasn't that good of a film.
