A hot air balloon carrying 16 people has crashed in Texas, killing everyone on board, local media says.
The balloon came down near Lockhart, south of Austin, after it caught fire.
Local reports suggest that there are no survivors, though this has not yet been confirmed.
‘DPS confirms fatalities after a hot air balloon crash this morning on 796 Jolly Road in Caldwell County,’ Lee wrote on Twitter.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the balloon went down in a field at around 7.40am local time.
